PUBLIC NOTICE: February 16, 2026
On MAY 19, 2026, a partisan primary and a nonpartisan general election will be conducted. Candidate qualifying begins at 9:00 a.m. on MARCH 2, 2026, and ends at 12 Noon on MARCH 6, 2026.
Candidates for the following NONPARTISAN offices must qualify with the Floyd County Board of Elections & Registration and pay the set qualifying fee.
Juvenile Court Judge: $4,028.19
The Floyd County Board of Elections and Registration will conduct NONPARTISAN qualifying at the following location and during the hours indicated:

Monday, March 2 - Thursday, March 5: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday, March 6: 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon
