The following policy is stated and prominently displayed at all Floyd County Remote Sites.

Remote Site Use Policy

  • Check with caretaker before dumping
  • Household garbage only
  • No brush, tires, carpet, furniture, or appliances
  • Place all garbage in open hopper
  • Do not pitch from back of vehicle
  • All vehicles must have a Floyd County tag, or other proof of Floyd County residency or property ownership to use sites
    • EXAMPLE: property tax bill, utility bill, license, lease agreement, etc.
  • Keep children in vehicle at all times
  • No loitering

Failure to follow these policies could result in your arrest and prosecution.
