FIRE Program

The Focusing Impact on Re-Entry (FIRE) Program strives to transform lives by inspiring reform and reducing recidivism.

Criteria
The Focusing Impact on Re-Entry (FIRE) Program is a county reentry program that primarily assists offenders with a residence plan from the following counties: Floyd, Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Gordon, Haralson, Murray, Polk, Whitfield and Walker.

Offenders are selected, approved and/or transferred by the Georgia Department of Corrections. Upon acceptance, participants progress through phases depending upon eligibility requirements and individual behavior, and may potentially transfer to the Work Release Program, also known as a Transitional Center. The ultimate determination is based upon the Georgia Department of Corrections.
